My Goals

Wednesday, January 7, 2009
I think in the past I have been setting unreasonable goals. Like losing literally 100lbs. I think I am going to break them up into "milestones" to make them more attainable. I was thinking maybe 8-10lbs per month. If I dont lose that I will keep trying though. I just dont want to set a big number and be bummed out when I only lose (hopefully) a small amt. This way I have several goals.

Another is to consume more water. I dont drink much soda but I live off of Sweet Tea. That is another downfall of mine. I know that I cant cut sweet tea out completely but drinking more water and less sweet tea would be better.

I really need to cut out the fast food and start cooking more. Maybe if I would cook more I could get my daughter to eat more veggies. I love veggies but sometimes fast food is easier and definately "fast." Also cutting this out will probably save me some money...that would be good too!

I have a gym membership that I pay monthly for and I cant tell you the last time I was in there. I really want to hit the gym at least 3-5 times a week. I really need to set my mind to it and just do it. I love going but it seems I never have the time. Once again I wish there were more hours in the day. I would love to go first thing in the morning at 5 when it opens up and then (this part I am not too hip on) shower & get ready for work there so that I can go straight into work. That is my goal but I have to get my butt out of bed and do it!! Playing on the computer late at night doesnt help that either...oh well I need to manage my time better!

So there are my goals for now and I will probably add to them once I get a grasp on some of these. What are some of yours?

Have you tried Lipton Diet Citrus Green Tea? I absolutely love it!! There are no calories, so you don't get those empty calories, but you do get some great antioxidants from the green tea, which helps with weight loss! Yay! And it's a nice sweet alternative for me. :)
