An Old Friend

Before I go any further I want everyone to know that with this post I do not mean to step on anyone's toes. This is merely how I feel and I mean no harm to anyone of my readers.

I found out this morning that an old friend on mine died last night. Actually she committed suicide. She was only 21. She had her whole life to live but instead took the easy way out. Why, I do not know. Only God knows. I do know that she did leave a note but I really dont feel that will ever be circulated around. I recently heard that she has been in some trouble but I honestly cant tell you the last time I have seen her so I am not the one to judge. I grew up with her. She lived two houses down for at least 15 years of our lives. But I do not understand why she would do this. But that is all I have to say...I just dont understand it.

No More Vacuuming!

So I am a big fan of Woot. If you have never heard of Woot I will try and explain it (to the best of my ability). Every day this website puts up 1 item that is either new or refurbished and tries to sell it at a good price. They only have a certain amount of these items and once they are sold out that is it for that day they put nothing else up on their site. They then put something new up at midnight and the cycle repeats itself. Anyway on Monday they had a brand new iRobot Roomba 535 for $149.99 on sale. I googled it and realized that Woot was selling it for half the price that Ebay & Amazon were trying to sell it for. So I bought 2...one for us and one for my parents. They have been wanting one and I thought it would be a good surprise. So I received it today and just got it home. Kevin has been playing with it...it needs to charge so we will actually get to test it out tomorrow. Here is a pic of it. I will let you know if I like it or not.

It's Friday...my favorite day! Kailani at An Island Life created Aloha Friday in hopes of taking it easy on the blogging, as they take it easy on Friday in Hawaii. My Question is: What (if any) allergies do you have? If any have you passed them on to your children?

I am highly allergic to any kind of nuts. My throat will immediately start closing as soon as I ingest the nut. I also have other allergies...basically the only thing I am NOT allergic to are humans lol! Anything else that I get around that I am allergic to will make me sneeze & my eyes will water. The nuts are the only thing I really worry about.

As for passing it on...Kaylyn has a touch of it when it comes to nuts. Her face only breaks out in a rash she has no other reactions to anything else. I am glad for this.

Wordful Wednesday's!

This picture is of my dad and Kaylyn. I took it on Sunday. I think it is amazing at what my daughter can get away with. Me and my brother would beg my dad to ride the four-wheeler on the weekend (we were not allowed to ride it by ourselves) but he would never give in. Kaylyn asks and obviously she gets what she wants (right then too). She has him wrapped tightly around her finger!

My job

I just know all of you are wondering what I do all day right? It is killing you to know just what it is that I call work. Lucky for you I am going to tell you!

I work for an Audio/Visual company. We sell & install all types of Audio/Visual gear for churches, schools, and your high-end businesses. For example if you were to walk into a boardroom in any business we would be the one that installed the projector, screen and other audio equipment. I am not going to give away the company I work for because you just never know. It is a very big company...we pretty much have one office in every state and we even work internationally. Because of the economy we have laid off about 50 people but they are saying (for now anyway) that my job is safe. It should be! I am the only one that comes into the office Mon-Fri 8-5! We have a sales person that gets to work for home (wish I could do that but I dont know much about sales) so he hardly ever is in the office. We have 3 techs that do all of the installs. Because they do all the installs they are rarely in the office either. However, we come to my General Manager K (again I am not giving out too much info so we will call her "K" for now). She is the best manager there is! She usually rolls in around 9 and is always very leniant. She always tells me not to tell her when I am going to be late unless its after 9 when she actually gets in! But I try not to be late anyway. Most of the time its just me & her in the office unless she has to travel for meetings or whatever. Unlike most people I actually like my job...except the drive. More on that later!

Anyway, I do all of the ordering & receiving of all equipment. So I will spell it out for you: I sit behind a desk all day. We do have the internet except everything is coming through on a server so everything is watched. There are certain websites (myspace & facebook) that are blocked so I cannot access them. Good thing blogger isnt!!! But today K left early and she told me I could get on her computer and do whatever (translation= get on Facebook). See I have a desktop computer and everyone else gets a laptop (they travel, I dont). So they have a wireless card and another router set up so they can get all the blocked websites (sigh). So when she leaves (I have her password, another perk of being "tight" with the boss) I get on her computer and do some surfing! So that is what I am doing. I have been on FB for the last hour and thought I would do a post and then hopefully I can head out a little early and miss some of that traffic.

I work an hour away from home. Not by choice really but I need a job and nobody else is really hiring. Besides, like I said about I love my job. I live south of Birmingham, so in the mornings everyone(including me) is heading to Birmingham to go to work. I have to leave my house by 6:30am to be at work by 8:00. If I leave any later I am normally late. And its pretty much the same at night. I normally get off at 5 so I usaually am home around 6:30. But hopefully I can leave today at 4:30 and miss some of the traffic.

Birthday Party

So yesterday we had a birthday party to go to. It was actually a very pretty day...especially since it was at the park. Kaylyn had a blast. It was Reese's birthday. A little girl that we go to church with. Kaylyn was so excited that it was at the park. Here are a few snapshots I was able to get.

Its that time again. Its Friday and in Hawaii they like to take it easy...that is why Kailani from An Island Life likes to take it easy on the blogging as well. Its simple! My question is:

If you have a child(ren) where do they sit in your car?

I have an SUV which has side airbags so my daughter sits on one of the sides. However, my dad keeps on insisting she should sit in the middle. My fear of her sitting in the middle is that IF we were to have an accident there could be the possiblility of her flying through the window. At least if she is on the sides the front seats will stop her and hopefully if we are hit in the side the airbags will protect her. Just wondering your thoughts on this:)

Wii Fit

Sorry its kind of late but I had to get this post done tonight. Let me say that so far I am loving my Wii Fit. This is the second night I have done it and I am whooped. I have been doing it 30 mins a night and man am I sweating! I am still learning my way around it but its going well. Last night I set up my Mii profile that I will use on the Wii fit. If you have a Wii you will understand this and if not I will try and explain it to the best of my ability. In the Wii world you have a Mii character. This Mii is you and you will use this character every time you play the Wii.


This is my Mii character that I set up several weeks ago when we first got the Wii. This is the character that I would play whenever I would play bowling or tennis with Kaylyn. Please note how skinny my chick is. Very flattering I thought!

Well with the Wii Fit they do a body test. The board actually weighs which I think is very neat. It checks your weight and does your BMI. Well the character above I carried over onto the Wii Fit. However, now that I have weighed and done all of the tests, check out my chick now:


Ok, you can stop laughing! Man I cant even get out of being fat on a darn game lol! Anyway with all the measurements it takes it adds it to you Mii and that is now what I look like in the virtual world! Speaking typing of the virtual world...after all the little tests it performs it also gives you a virtual age. Well I will go ahead and remind you that I am 26. You wanna know what my virtual age is? I shouldnt tell you...but I will. My virutal age on the Wii Fit is 46!!! Can you believe that? I cant! Get off the floor! I know you are rolling on the floor laughing at me...yeah dont worry I am laughing too!

Blogging Question

Ok, ladies. I have a question. I havent quite figured this out and so I am going to drop my pride and ask you:)!

I have noticed that when I comment on someone's page and possibly ask them a question that they can email me the response. How do I do that? I cant figure that out. I know its right there but I cant put my finger on it! I have had several people comment on my page and ask a question but I never know how to respond other than posting another comment on my page or their's and they might not notice. Anyways...if you can shed some light on that I would greatly appreciate it!

Look What I got!!!

I have pretty much decided that I wont be going back to the gym...I know, I know. I am not giving up though. You see I really dont have the time because of my work schedule as well as my hubby's work schedule. But I really think I could do something if I could do it at home! So today I found a Wii Fit at Sams for like $78.00...I thought that was a deal so I bought it! Hopefully I can get it hooked up tonight (my hubby is sick) and let you know what I think about it. I am so excited about it! Hope everyone is having a great night!

I am Blessed!

Along with my post from last night I wanted to let everyone know some of the other things I am thankful for.

First and foremost I am thankful that God sent His son to die for me! I do not deserve that but that is what He did for me! I am so thankful that I am forgiven for all of my sins including the ones I have yet committed. I love having a God that I can talk to whenever I want...He is always there for me! Thank you Lord!

Second, my family. I have a wonderful husband that loves me for me and not what I do or do not look like. He is wonderful...and as much as I hate to admit he does alot around our house. This includes alot of cleaning, cooking and laundry...and for the most part he doesnt complain about it either. My daughter...I have a beautiful healthy little girl. She does frustrate me sometimes but I am so thankful for her. She brings so much joy to my life...I cant rememeber what I did before we had her! My parents...oh where to start. They have always been so supportive of me...no matter what I have thrown there way. I could not ask for better parents! My inlaws...I actually have a good set of inlaws! I love my MIL! I talk to her at least once a day and I have a really good relationship with her. They have kept Kaylyn since she was 6wks old free of charge. They have helped out whenever needed or just because. My parents have done the same!

I have a wonderful job that I actually like. They only thing I dont like is the actual drive. I love everyone I work with and I love the company. I am also very thankful to have a job during these rough economic times. Of course I wish I brought home more money but we have a roof over our head and food on the table so I am not complaining...much anyways!

Then there are my BF's (blog friends)! All of you I just love! You are always here to share your world along with hopefully enjoying some of mine. You leave great comments & suggestions and always have the right thing to say along with encouragement when I need it.

So thank you Lord for all of my many, many blessings!

As some of you know our home is up for sale. With the housing market it's a toss up but I have really been praying about it. Since I have been praying I have had so many people calls on it. I have had 3 calls just today and even had a lady look at it today. I am not getting my hopes up but I have handed it over to the Lord. I am not worrying about it. I know it will sell (if its meant to sell)in God's time. I just wanted to say Thank you Lord for all the calls that I have received!

I have a Palm Treo 755. However, I do not like it. I cant wait to get another one in October. That is when my contract is up. With my Treo you can sync it up with a computer and back up your data on the phone. Well mine some how got a virus doing that and my phone hasnt really worked well since. Like I said I cant wait to get another one!

1. I am addicted to TV. I have several shows that I have to watch. They are DVR'd so that if I cant be home to see them I can watch them later. My favorite shows are Desperate Housewives, Grey's Anatomy, Private Practive, Brothers & Sisters Big Brother (comes on in the summer), and now American Idol.
2. I wear socks 24/7 (I change them twice a day) because I am allergic to the carpet in my house. How crazy is that? If I dont wear socks and walk on the carpet the bottom of my feet break out in blisters (sorry if that is TMI).
3. I spend way too much time on the computer.
4. I love all sweets...I have the biggest sweet tooth there is!
5. I gained close to 70lbs when I was pregnant. I honestly thought I could lose it with no problems
6. I hate cooking, cleaning, & doing laundry. Thank God that I married a wonderful man that doesnt mind doing it. I do help out every now & again so he doesnt do it "all."
7. I work for an audio, visual company that sales & installs any/all audio/visual equipment. I do the processing of all orders...I surf the net in my spare time.
8. I got married when I was 20 and had Kaylyn when I turned 21.
9. I started college when I was 16 in a special program...however, I have yet to get my degree.
10. I had to cancel my debit card yesterday because some internet scam got my number and has been taking money from my account...not happy about this!
11. I am very self conscious about my weight and the way I look since I have gained all this weight.
12. I cant stand it when someone wispers in my ear...I dont know why but I hate it. However, recently Kaylyn has been into telling secrets...in my ear! I let her do it because she doesnt understand.
13. I love going to the gym but I never can find the time to go...it really does bother me too!
14. I lucked up and got a great set of inlaws! I love my MIL...we talk at least once a day!
15. Before Kaylyn was born we bought a pack of diapers everytime we went to walmart. Needless to say we didnt have to buy diapers until she was 15mos old!
16. I love the Spring time but its doesnt like me! I have really bad allergies so I suffer very badly!
17. I knew Kevin 2 years before we even started dating. I liked him but he was seeing someone and I was also seeing someone. Finally we ended up single around the same time and we have been together ever since! We will be married for 6 yrs in May!
18. I have crazy neighbors! The other night they got into a huge fight and the woman beat up the man...sorry but I am not getting involved. I really think they are crazy!
19. Our home has been up for sale for 2 mos now and we have had alot of inquiries but nothing seems to pan out. Hopefully soon things will work out!
20. I love blog stalking...it is my newest hobby!

American Idol

So I was wondering...who out there watches American Idol? I have been....and I must say that I really like Scott MacIntyre. I think its because I really want him to suceed even though he has a handicap. I really like him. That is who I am voting for. Yes, he is safe too!

Tonight though Jasmine was voted off. The judges didnt save her either. I really didnt think they would. She is so young she can still come back and try it again. I did feel bad for her though.


Ok...in the bottom now is Anoop and Jorge. I really want Anoop to stay. I think he has a great voice but just didnt pick a good song last night. We will see.

For the fun of it Kaylyn "fish's" at my parents house. Not really though. They have a little fishing pole that has a silver weight at the end of it. She will sit on the side of their cement wall and throw & reel it in for hours. It is so funny. She has a blast. Hey...it's cheap fun!

Beautiful Day

It is such a pretty day outside. I didnt go to work today because Kaylyn has been sick. To read about that see this post. It's suppose to be close to 80 degrees today. I took this picture earlier.

If you can read it from the glare but it was 70degrees this morning when I went to grab some breakfast. I love this kind of weather. Kevin is even outside cutting the grass. I wish Kaylyn was feeling better because I would love to take her to the park or something. She is such an outside girl. Well how is the weather where you are?

Trip to the ER

Well it all started when I got a call from my MIL. She called me about 3:45 and wanted to tell me that Kaylyn was having trouble breathing. Kaylyn got on the phone and talked to me for a few mins. She told me she wanted me to take her to the doctor. She never asks to go to the doctor so I really thought she was sick. So I go on home. Once I got there she was struggling for air...not bad but she was. My MIL also told me that a few mins before I got there that Kaylyn was balled up on the couch complaining of her stomach hurting. She went to the bathroom but didnt have to go. She said that lasted about 10 maybe 15 mins. After that passed she was fine. Anyway she was having some trouble breathing so I decided to take her to the ER. It was close to 5 so the doctors were already closed.

I get to the ER and let them know that she is having trouble breathing so they take her own back. They said that her O2 level was down so she was definately not getting enough air. She was also wheezing. The doctor came in after a little while and listened to her. He told us that he was going to have her do a breathing treatment and see how she sounds afterwards. After he left the room (of course) she doubled over again and started complaining of her stomach. She was telling me it hurt so bad. She was crying. After a few mins the nurse came in to administer the breathing treatment. I told her about her stomach and she said she would tell the doctor. After a few more mins Kaylyn was fine. No pain and she was up running around the room. She did the breathing treatment and that lasted about 20mins or so. The nurse came back in and tried to give her some liquid steroids. Well Kaylyn has a gag reflex to where if she doesnt like it she will make herself gag and it comes back up. So of course she didnt like this medicine and up it came. Not to sound selfish but my new laptop was in front of her so that she could watch The Little Mermaid. As she starts to throw up I dont want it all over my computer so I catch it all in my hand. Sorry if that is too much. I was able to move the laptop over with my elbow so it was in the clear. However, Kaylyn kept throwing up & throwing up. I thought she was never going to stop. Kevin brought in some clothes we had in the car. She put on the new pants but we didnt have a shirt so she just wore a jacket. After that the doctor came in he listened to her and said that she was 100% better. No wheezing and that her airways were opened up all the way. He said that she is ready to go home. I asked for her diagnosis. He said that he wasnt going to her diagnos her with asthma. I have that myself so I really have been concerned. He said that she had an upper respiratory infection. That is where her cough is coming from which in return was making her wheeze. I asked if she needed to take the steroids that they tried to give her. He said no...that since she cleared up with just one breathing treatment then she would be just fine without it. So we gathered everything and and left.

Since it was about 8:30 I decided I am not cooking so we thought we would go by and grab something quick at Full Moon BBQ. We ordered and sat down and waited for our food. Kaylyn sipped on her sprite . After a few mins she started complaining of her stomach hurting again. Shortly after our food came. I fixed her ketchup for her fries. She was laying down in the booth beside me. I was rubbing her back and seeing if she wanted anything to eat. She said no her stomach was hurting too bad to eat. I knew she was sick because Kaylyn does not pass up french fries. So I started eating and kept rubbing her back. She closed her eyes and somewhat (I think) went to sleep. After a minute or two I looked over at her and she was lying on her back but at the same time she was throwing up again. I turned her head so that she wouldnt choke and it went all over her and then all over me. She sat up in the booth and kept throwing up. After a minute or so she started dry heaving. I really felt bad for her but also the guy that was eating in the booth behind us. She wouldnt stop so we decided to just leave so everyone didnt have to hear or see her throwing up. As I was getting her out of the boothe the guy behind me asked if she was ok. I quickly explained that she had been sick but we thought she was over it (obviously not) and I kept apologizing to him. Thank you God that he was very nice about it and said that all that mattered was that she was ok. I still feel a little bad that he had to witness this while he was eating.

We got her home with no throw up in the car (I am very happy about this) and got her in the tub. Gave her a bath and washed her hair. After that she seemed to be fine. She played and played. I gave her very little gingerale because I didnt know if it would stay down. It did and after a little while she went to bed. She slept great.

She is doing much better. She got up asking for something to eat. I fixed her some biscuits and she ate them and drank some gingerale and seemed to be fine. I did keep her out of school which means I stayed home from work (as if I minded lol!). She has been playing all morning and hasnt vomitted yet. I am hoping she is in the clear. She still has the cough but I am hoping it will get better soon.

Work? Huh?

Let's just say that I have been at work since about 8am this morning and I havent really done anything constructive. I have done nothing but blog stalk all day long. There were a few times that I handled somethings that "came" up but other than that I have been blogging all day! I keep telling myself after I read this blog I will start to work...nope that never happens. Do you ever get in that "Blah" mood where you really dont want to do anything? I do...I have been in it all week. However, I got several things accomplished last week, but this week aint looking so hot lol! To top it off I normally get out at 5 but I may leave around 4 or 4:30 cuz I am just so darn bored.

I have been following Serenity's blog. She has had some major struggles/battles and are still facing some of them. Go over to her page and let her know you are thinking about her. Read her story...so far it is amazing. She is so honest & truthful. I really admire her.

No sleep tonight

I think it is something about Sunday nights and that is why I dont sleep. Or it could be that I slept till 12:30 this afternoon! I think it was around 10:30 when we went to bed last night. I ended up taking some of my asthma medicine that how a drosiness effect. I slept really good last night. My mom called around 8:30am and wanted to take Kaylyn to church. I said sure. That would give me a chance to go back to bed (as if I really needed too). So she came and got Kaylyn and I did go back to bed. I ended up waking up a couple of times but was so lazy that I just went back to sleep again. My mom called me around 12:30 to ask me something so she is the one that actually got me out of bed. I wonder what time I would have slept to if she hadnt called? Anyway, I scarfed down a bowl of cereal and headed down to my parents. I got their and found my daughter outside waiting on the ice cream man. I went inside to find my brother's girlfriend. I really like her. I hope things work out for them.

Anway, after the ice cream man came we ate our ice cream and chit chatted with each other. Then we ran to Wal-mart to pick up a few things for supper. After we got back since it was such a beautful day I decided to go wash my car. Not me personally washing it...a drive through car wash. It was kind of neat (keep in mind that it doesnt take much to amuse me). This one was new and all you had to do was drive up to it and put the car in Neutral and it did the rest. It led you through. It kind of freaked me out though because it was in total control...not me. Once you get through they have a vacuuming section that was free. I vacuumed out my car and it turned out pretty good. You know it's dirty when you take it for a tire rotate & balance and the guy there comments on its dirtyness. Yes, I know its dirty thank for pointing it out you jerk! But I do have to say the carwash did really well. My car looks so clean!

After that we came home & had supper. My brother got home from work so we ate as a family. Shortly after that I had to leave. Kaylyn is staying with my MIL tonight because of Kevin's work schedule so I had to run by the house and get her backpack & other junk that she "has" to have. I dropped her off with my MIL and came on home. Of course it's Sunday night so 2 of my shows come on tonight. Desperate Housewives & Brothers & Sisters. I love those shows. I had them DVR'd so I got to fast forward all the commercials. Anyways, here I am close to 1am and I am not in the bed yet. I guess I am just not that tired. But I am fixing to head off to bed:) At least try and get some sleep.

A Baby

Ladies...or men. Dont know who is out there reading this. I am going to be brutally honest tonight. I am really feeling this so I wanted to get it out. I really, really want another baby. Not that this matters but Kaylyn is now five and I do want another child...maybe two. I think its time. What is holding me back you ask? My weight! My weight is holding me back from everything. I feel like it is smothering me. Like I cant get ahead. If anyone can do the math you will know that I weigh over 200lbs (something I am not proud of) and there is no way that I could have a baby at my weight. My hubby said why not? Just go ahead and get it over with and then worry about my weight after I have the baby. I cant do that for several reasons.

1. I am not at a healthy weight so if I were to get pregnant I would put on that much more weight that has to come off after the baby. My first pregnancy I gained close to 70lbs...if I do that again I will weigh over 300lbs by the time I am done. I cant do that.
2. I know that at my weight now I would be a great gestational diabetes candidate. I dont need that. I am already in line for that my...mother has it and so does both of my grandmothers.
   
3. Plus that would cause that much more stress on the baby. I couldnt knowingly put the baby in that position.
   

With all these reasons I know that its just not going to happen. Now is the struggle. This is the reason I want to lose the weight so bad. And forgive me but I am one of those instant gratification people. I like to see immediate results and that is just not happening. I know that isnt the way it goes but that is how I have always been.

Everytime I see someone with a baby I just get so upset. I know I shouldnt but I do. I just want one. It seems like everyone is having a baby and I am being left out. I know that is stupid but that is what my mind keeps thinking. Plus I have a cousing that just gave birth a couple of months ago and for some reason I got so upset. Dont get me wrong. I was happy for her but at the same time I was upset. Now I have another cousin that is having a baby and for the same reason this is bothering me too. I know I just need to suck it up and work towards loosing the weight.

I have all the strategies worked out in my head but I never act on them. I can go to the gym here and eat this...but I never do. I always stay in my same routine. Tonight for instance. I have been feeling sorry for my crazy self. We had mexican for dinner and then afterwards (just a few mins ago) I sat down to "blog" and watch tv. Instead I fixed myself a strawberry shortcake with whip cream and enjoyed every minute of it. I even contemplated on fixing myself another one...but I didnt. Lately I have been so down on myself.

As I said before my weight is consuming my life. It is all I think about and starting to drive me crazy. I talked to my hubby the other night and he just didnt understand why it was so important. He doesnt understand why I am not happy with myself when he is happy with me. He just doesnt understand it. Please pray for me. Please pray that I will get out of this funk and stop worrying about it so much. I want to lose this weight, I dont want it to be all talk. Once and for all I want to show everyone that I can do it!

I am sorry this post is here & there but I was trying to get it all off my chest.

What is one of your crazy/silly fears?

I am certifiable crazy if you havent realized this yet! One of my crazy fears is that I cant stand stopping on a bridge that is over water. I want to keep on going! It completely freaks me out!The bridge fear hits me the other way too. I absolutely hate sitting up under a bridge in traffic. I know...I know. It's crazy!

Weigh In

Does anybody remember when the last time I went to weigh in? To be exact it was on Feb. 12th! I know right? Well I havent been blogging about it but I havent been doing that well on my diet. I keep eating things that I know I shouldnt be and thinking "Oh well I will start over tomorrow!" Thing is I dont start over tomorrow! I have to get a hold of my self and keep going the way I need & want to go! I decided to go to weigh in today because I felt I had probably gained the 4lbs I lost and hopefully that would get me in the right mind set. Well I went to weigh in today and while I was taking my shoes off one of the ladies asked me do I always wear jeans to weigh in? I told her no just today that is what I happened to be in. She told me not to wear jeans because that can alter your actual loss up to 2lbs. Knowing that I weighed in. I lost 1.4lbs. Not bad but not what I wanted...but I know I could have lost more if I would have followed the diet like I was suppose to.

On the up side my mom called and told me that a friend of hers was on Jenny Craig and she ended up doing one of those bariatric surgeries. She was getting rid of all of her food that she has purchased. It was like $800 worth of food. She new that I joined WW and gave me all the food!!! I am so excited. I think that will help me out. I really didnt want to interwine the two diets but I am pretty sure they will have the nutritional info on them so I can calculate up the points. Isnt that awesome?

Wacky Wednesday

All this week Kaylyn's school has been celebrating Dr. Seuss birthday. They have read books and done fun things that have to pertain to Dr. Seuss. Well today they had Wacky Wednesday. This is where they wear something wacky. This is what Kevin and I came up with. Her hair isnt part of it lol!

I took this picture of Kaylyn last night. She was having a tea party with all of her dolls (see them all on the couch). She has the Care Bears DVD and there is this song on there that she loves. Well she would play the song and dance with each one of her dolls (pictured: Cinderella). It was too cute. She has such a wonderful imagination!

Snow Day

So yesterday it snowed here in Sweet Home Alabama. This is something we truly never see. Since I was sick for the last park of last week my wonderful parents kept Kaylyn all weekend. Of course she was there when it snowed so I missed all of this. However, it did snow last year so I didnt miss her first snow! Anyway, I was kind of upset that I did miss this but my thoughtful dad got some great pictures! I am so happy that they though to get these pics.

This is Kaylyn the second time she came out. The first her hands got really cold. The remedy: my dad's socks!
