Its So Cold Outside!

Wednesday, January 6, 2010
This morning and yesterday was so cold and I hear it's not going to get any better. Per the news they say we are going to get some snow tomorrow. Maybe 1-2 inches. I will believe it when I see it! However, everyone has run to the store and bought the usual milk and bread. We had to go to Publix tonight because I didnt have anything to cook and it was complete chaos in there. There were only 5 lanes open and each lane had at least 4 people waiting to checkout and then some.

Because of all the "snow" chaos they have already cancelled school tomorrow and possibly Friday. We have to wait till Friday morning to see what the weather is going to do. IF it does snow I think they will cancel school on Friday because the high on Friday is on if the snow does come and then melts then it will freeze and there will alot of ice! So tomorrow I get to sleep in with Kaylyn and they say sometime around noonish it will start snowing. Kevin gets off from work around 1 so by the time he gets home maybe we will be able to enjoy the snow toghether. Of course I will get pictures!

I just know that I am so tired of being cold. Our poor heater barely shuts off for five minutes and then kicks back on. Then in the morning it is always so cold and I hate getting out of my warm bed when its that cold. I personally hate bundling up just to go the store or whereever. Besided when I get in the car then I have to take it all off because I cant stand driving with a coat on! I would so much rather be hot than cold.

Anyway, below is a pic from my cell phone reading the thermometer on my car this morning. It's under the big "D" and it reads 12 degrees outstide. Freaking cold!

Aunt of 14

last year, we had all this freaky snow in Seattle. It was absolutely crazy--- snow built up to like a foot. I don't mind the snow, really, and I was looking forward to getting some in December... but so far there has been NOTHING! The high here is 50-ish and that is so wrong! Gimmie some of that snow, please!
